Meet The Board

Born and raised in Oregon, Emily, grew up on a farm. She was the child who brought home strays,  injured wildlife, bottle baby farm animals, and once went as far as a box of mice from the pet store to spare their lives. She participated in 4H but was the only child not selling their livestock at auction. She couldn’t understand why others would want to sell their friends they raised, cared for, and who trusted them... Over the years her passion for animals grew and she has spent the last 10 years rescuing animals in need of medical care and a home; all while working as a nurse. Wanting to expand her efforts of making meaningful change on a larger scale for the animal and human community, she has founded Oregon Farm Sanctuary.
