Stetson the Nigerian Dwarf Goat believes he is human. He came to the farm when he was only a day old. Stetson, born Unisex, needed lifesaving surgery that the farm he was born on could not provide him. So he moved in and OSU Veterinary Hospital saved his life…more than once...Now he lives like a king and even won his own recliner that he spends most of his days on.
Jethro the giant goat, at least that is what everyone says who meets him, came to the farm with a strange habit of eating wood. He was evicted from his residence his family was renting and they had nowhere to move him too. They did love him but wanted to provide him with a safe home…From there he came to the Sanctuary where he spends most his days with his BGF (Best Goat Friend) Billy.
Henry on his Freedom ride home to the Sanctuary! He came from Colorado feedlot bound for Mexico to be used as meat and have his hide sold for "medicine". He now lives his days jack-assing around with the other rescues and being as loud as he can when excited!
Woody traveled to Oregon Farm Sanctuary all the way from Utah via a group of volunteers to drive different legs of the trip. He was born with Cryptorchidism, also known as undescended testicles. It is a birth defect that occurs when one or both testicles fail to descend into the scrotum and the farm, he came from didn’t have a vet nearby to perform the surgery. In his downtime he sneaks into the house, so he gets a treat to go back outside. He's trained his human well.
Billy came to us when his person couldn’t afford to care for him and wanted him any longer. He loves spending his days playing king of the hill. Visitors have to park on the outside gate otherwise he will see your shiny vehicle as a new challenge. He has a history of dancing on a sunroof and cracking it! Eeeek, insurance agencies love him 😉.
Bigs, Littles, and Boots were from an overcrowded situation and needed a new pasture. These 3 don’t go anywhere without each other! They spend their days clearing briars or trying to find a new escape route into the neighboring nursery! Always a fun time with these three!
